Robin, the owner and operator of Dundas Valley Hobby in Ontario, has made a big leap in installing Microsoft RMS. For many years she used a very antiquated DOS system and did not make any changes out of fear of making the wrong decision. The system she had was no longer supported by the developers and she knew she had to make a move. Her store is a very large Hobby supply store located in the historic town of Dundas. Specialized in RC vehicles of all types, the store has a loyal following in the whole area. Robin also chose to install MS Loyalty with her RMS application, as well as Item Import which allows her to import whole supplier files at one time. It's a great time saver to be able to import many thousands of items into the database in a few minutes as opposed to creating them by hand over many days. The big box stores are just too far away for her customers to even think about. Having used MYOB for many years, Rose, The owner, decided it was time to look for a system that had POS capabilities. Her search ended with MS RMS. Having the ability to import entire supplier files was a huge plus, as the majority of inventory items are purchased from the same supplier. Being able to roll over to the new system with all items and customers imported has made the entire process manageable.
