David - managed a chain of camera stores for 22 years.

Memoirs is the Brain child of David, last spring after researching that the scrap booking industry is a $2.5 bill industry and growing by the day David made the decision to get into the scrapbook business.

Why did Memoirs decide on RMS Ltd. and Microsoft POS, over the competition?
We found RMS Ltd. on the internet and looked at a lot of POS systems. We loved the way that the team at Retail Management Systems, Ltd. helped us through the decision making process with the product demonstration and explanations, it was just fabulous.
As well, we trust Microsoft. If they are not going to be around down the road, then nobody will. Plus, the system was very affordable.
How did Memoirs find the remote setup and installation process?
Fabulous. Honestly, it was flawless and I lived through 2 'Counterpoint' remote installations, which I may add were nightmares.

What are your thoughts regarding the 411 Instant Customer software developed by RMS Ltd. for the Microsoft POS?
Amazing, it shocks the customer, nicely, but it shocks them.
For example, if you are listed in the phonebook it automatically search's the internet for the customers Name, Address, City, State and ZIP and adds them to our Customer database and the transaction. Then we say to the customer "Do live on such and such a street?" and that definitely amazes them. We think they are going to remember us.
The staff loves it it saves them on so many key strokes.
What would you say to a Retailer considering RMS Ltd. and Microsoft POS for their solution?
Buy it.....Period!
The solution, the backup, the service everything is tremendous. RMS Ltd. is there when we need them, but mind you, we don't need them very often because the initial setup was so great and everything is so stable.
Dave do you have any additional comments you'd like to add?
Let see, what can I say, after looking at several systems and comparing the total package, price, support and ease of use of Microsoft POS, this system beats everybody out there, hands down.
I have lived through 3 POS systems and the backend charges on the other systems were a killer.
You can't go wrong with Microsoft Retail Management System.
